Testimony
In 2014 at the end of a glorious campaign where I had the privilege of preaching along side another 6 other Women of God; one of them (Pastor Minelly), whom we love and respect; she ministered to my life led by the Lord praying “Lord Jehovah, God cover her from that cancer disease that is to come”. Honestly, deep inside me I said “I rebuke the enemy, I do not receive any sickness.” Then two more people told me that they had dreams or visions with me: that saw me with a disease like cancer… and that’s when I started to worry. I spoke to my husband I told him what they had told me and in response, he stared at me deeply and said, “2 years ago I had a vision where I saw you with cancer in a hospital”. OH MY GOD!!! If I tell you that my world felt like it all crumbled to the ground, it is not enough; it wouldn’t do justice to the feeling I experienced! I made an appointment with the doctor, they gave me a complete check-up and the results said that I was in excellent physical condition, that I was like a 15-year-old girl. We prayed and cried out to God and for 2 years nothing happened …
So on October 9, 2016, I had just turned 36 years old, I put my hand on my chest, specifically on my right breast and felt a lump. Immediately my mind went to those prophecies and warnings that had been given to me just two years prior.
Because I was 36 years old; and there was a lump present on my chest, and in addition to that I had no medical coverage; it took 2 months for the women’s health center (for mammograms) to agree to see me. Until finally an ER employee made a call and helped me receive the Suzanne G. Coleman fund to allow for me to be seen.
When they did the mammography, and the diagnostic ultrasound, a commotion immediately formed in that place; and the only thing they asked was. How old is she? Does she have any children? How many children do you have? You are so young …
They ordered a biopsy and on December 27 the results came. “Aggressive and Invasive Ductal Carcinoma In Situ – Breast Cancer Stage 3”. My tumor was 13cm and was divided into three sections that covered pretty much all my right breast. Affecting also my lymphatic nodes
Treatment:
24 Chemotherapies (half including “Dexorubicin”) followed by 36 radiation treatments.
Several surgical interventions which included a mastectomy of the right breast, the removal of 16 lymphatic nodes, a trans-flap, the reconstruction of the breast among other minor surgeries.
But I can say “Ebenezer” thus far Jehovah has helped me! Through it all, the Lord never left me. He was always with me providing the necessary strength and hope to go on with all the treatments and surgeries.
Since October 2017 we are cancer free, Glory to God!
